8th Annual Rosewood Corporation Charity Golf Tournament raises more than $30,000 for Family Compass
The Rosewood Corporation chose Family Compass as the beneficiary of their 8th Annual Rosewood Corporation Charity Golf Tournament in October. The organization will receive a gift of more than $30,000. The Rosewood Corporation and Foundation are committed to improving the quality of people’s lives in our area through the arts, education, environmental conservation, healthcare, and children and families living in poverty.
Kappa Delta Foundation donates $7,000 to Family Compass’ Growing as Parents Program
Family Compass staff were recently joined virtually by members of the Richardson Plano Kappa Delta Alumnae Chapter who announced grants for parent education programs and staff support in North Texas.
A $7,000 KiDs Grant from the Kappa Delta Foundation will support Family Compass’ “Growing as Parents” program in Dallas and Collin Counties. These funds will help mentor and educate pregnant and young mothers about parenting best practices.
The local alumnae of Kappa Delta sorority also collected personal funds to provide $100 gift cards to each of Family Compass’ staff in recognition of our hard work for families during this tough time.
CoServ donates $10,000 to Family Compass’s teen parent program
Family Compass saved 676 children in North Texas from abuse or neglect in one year, meaning those children won’t end up in Child Protective Services. Parents who get through the program learn proper parenting skills that are passed on to their children who will in turn pass them to their children.

KoonsFuller Family Law Foundation Announces Finalists and Judges for 2018 Grant Awards
KoonsFuller CEO and Managing Shareholder Ike Vanden Eykel announced the finalists for the KoonsFuller Family Law Foundation awards. The 16 finalists were selected from 30 non-profit organizations who applied for the 2018 charitable grants. The Foundation will award $200,000 in grants to the charities selected by a panel of notable judges from North Texas and Houston.
